Chess Free allows you to play against the computer with twelve different difficulty levels. In the first few, you shouldn't have any problem winning if you more or less know how to pay chess, but the most difficult levels are really hard.
In addition to playing against the computer, players can choose to play against another player using the same device. In order to do so you simply have to pass your phone or tablet from one person to the other every time you switch turns.
Chess Free also includes eight different chess boards and five different sets of pieces. So, you can have a little more variety when you're playing the game.
Chess Free is an excellent way to play chess on an Android device. As its name indicates, the game is free, but that doesn't mean that it offers fewer features than it should. In fact, it's just the opposite, as it offers tons of different possibilities for your games.
Requires Android 1.5 or later.
